One in 13 children has a food allergy, so Halloween can be a difficult time for many families. The Teal Pumpkin Project™ raises awareness of food allergies and promotes a safer, happier Halloween by encouraging households to make non-food treats available for trick-or-treaters who need to avoid candy – due to food allergies or other reasons. Households can show they are a participant by placing a teal pumpkin in front of their home. For more information go tohttp://www.foodallergy.org/teal-pumpkin-project
